Honey Boo Boo Style: Redneck Line Dancing Gets The Korean Mash-Up. Put On Your Boogie Shoes Cuz It’s Honey Boo Boo vs. Gangnam Style!

Sunday, September 23rd, 2012

It’s kind of like your favorite Korean restaurant just started serving Roadkill.

Delightfully unexpected, yet tasty. Chewy meat with a boogie beat.

Considering that internet sensation Park Jae-sangPSY to all us hipsters…only released his viral dance tune “Gangnam Style” in July of this year, it’s pretty darn amazing that he is already a world-wide sensation.

The “Most Liked” video in the history of youtube with over 257 million hits as of today, you can barely flip a channel without grinding into PSY doing that dirty pony riding cowboy lasso looking thang.

Saturday Night Live. Ellen. The Today Show.

Seems like everybody’s doing it Gangnam Style.  The same industry people who sniffed out Justin Bieber on youtube have even picked up PSY’s scent, and just the thought of the Biebs somehow musically meeting up with his Korean counterpart nearly caused an internet meltdown when it was first announced.

How could it possibly get any better than this, you ask?

Add some Go-Go Juice.  Cuz that s*** makes everything better.

Just ask Alana.

Honey Boo Boo Child is going Gangnam in the ultimate Korean Redneck ReMix.  It’s like someone took everything inside my head and made a music video.  All my latest obsessions brilliantly mixed together until they’re as smooth as butter and ketchup.

It’s like Korean Sketti.  That you can dance to.

Oppa Gangnam Style.

Y’all.

DanCool Tube: Beauty And The BEAT. Wassup, Girl? What’s Good? What’s Good? This Hysterical Disney Parody, That’s What. Belle Goes To Da ‘Hood In This Crazy Musical Viral Video.

Saturday, June 30th, 2012

It’s a tale as old as time.

And as tired as that weave, girlfriend.

It’s Beauty and the Beast as you’ve never seen it.  And if you’ve already seen it, watch it again.  Because it’s that hysterical.

Todrick Hall has just reinvented a Disney classic, and this ain’t Yo Mama’s Belle.

Remember at the beginning of the Disney movie, when Belle was dancing all over the town square and singing by the fountain, carrying one of those books that she loved so much?

Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve watched the Bluray but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t an issue of Ebony Magazine in Belle’s basket, and I don’t believe that at any point in the song did she stop off at the salon to get her hair did.

Let’s just leave it at that.

With production values that rival any big screen blockbuster, this video has already crossed the 2 million mark on youtube in record time.

It also crosses all other boundaries, and is just plain funny no matter who you are.

The only drawback to the video is that you need to watch it about 20 times to catch all the good stuff.

Simply watching my girl GloZell honk her car horn requires at least 7 rewinds.  Nobody does bats*** crazy like GloZell.

Nobody.

Whatchoo call me?

Oh.  It’s a hot mess.

Toddlers & Tiaras: You Are Driving Me Nuts. The Sequel. One More Mega Makenzie Meltdown Masterpiece.

Saturday, December 3rd, 2011

They’re tiny.

They’re shiny.

The crowds surrounding them are insanely unruly.  Almost uncontrollable.

You say you aren’t going to get caught up in it again.

But you do.

And sometimes your eyes actually burn as a result.

Yup.  It’s happening again.

This Holiday season, it seems that anticipation for the upcoming new season of Toddlers & Tiaras is now ranking right up there with Black Friday price cuts on Walmart waffle irons.

Both events have polarized the country, caused numerous people to temporarily lose their vision, and at times reached the point where I can’t tell the difference between the two.

If it weren’t for tanning spray replacing pepper spray, I might never be able to figure out which one I am watching on Youtube.

I know it’s hard to wait, America.

So here’s one last glimpse of my new idol Makenzie Myers, the mini Queen of Meltdowns to keep you busy, and off the streets, until T&T returns this month.

She is a hoot.  She makes me smile.  End of story.

I personally can’t get enough of Makenzie…or a good waffle.

Feel free to sing along.
